i started chulo thinking about my abuelitos in los altos de jalisco.
they didn’t have much, but they made the most of what they had. a little tallow, a little pride, and somehow they always looked good. hair moisturized, clothes pressed, always ready. looking good wasn’t optional. it was part of who they were.
that stayed with me.
chulo is my way of honoring that. taking those rituals and bringing them into today with better ingredients, better texture, and a higher standard.
we make products for thicker, wavier, harder-to-manage hair. formulas that nourish, style, and make you feel proud of where you come from.
minimal ingredients. no shortcuts. made with intention. because where we come from, looking good matters. it’s how you carry yourself. how you show respect. how you show up.
looking chulo is about confidence, culture, y corazón.
